Diagnosing cancer, no doubt, is a terrible thing. However, it is amazing to see people climbing to support those who are fighting the terrible disease when they need it the most.
Of course, support almost always comes from family and friends. But sometimes comes the unlikely place: the ex-wife of the new Hopand, or in the case of Cameron Garros, fans of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Cameron is 12 years old in Austenton, Ohio, who was diagnosed with leukemia on May 23.

The chemical treatments started immediately in grade six with his colleagues and his family and community behind him.
"He's a big bear with smiles and cuddles, we know he's hoping he'll be home soon to enjoy the summer months, but he's on a long road to chemotherapy and Cleveland visits," he said. a friend who created Gofondam for Cam.

Fortunately, Cam’s treatments have gone extremely well. So well, in fact, that with one treatment to go, Cam and his family drove an hour to Cleveland to watch the Cavaliers game to celebrate.Cam brought a special sign he had made, hoping he would get his chance to share it with the crowd.Once the jumbo-tron’s camera found Cam, he unfolded his message — “My last chemo is Thursday. I”m here to celebrate. #CamStrong”The crowd went nuts, giving Cam a standing ovation, some of the clapping coming from other kids Cam’s age.Even the Cavaliers players, including ‘The King’ himself, LeBron James, stopped warmups in order to show Cam their support.“Cameron Jaros this is for you buddy. We are so proud of you. The strength you have shown is, and always will be, a huge inspiration to me. You are my HERO. I love you Cam Bam,” said one of Cam’s immediate family members Facebook.





“I was at that game… it was a very special moment. Beautiful!!!” said another Cavaliers fan.

Approximately 1 in 3 American adults isn’t getting enough sleep, according to the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).Here are the details of what happens to your body when you don’t log enough hours under the covers.


1. You get sick.

Losing sleep can impair your body’s ability to fight off illness. This makes it easier to get sick. Researchers even uncovered a reciprocal relationship between sleep and your immune system. You may lose additional sleep while your body fights off a bug if you get sick and haven’t had enough shut-eye.

2. Your heart suffers.

Both short sleep durations (less than five hours per night) and long sleep durations (nine or more hours per night) have been shown to have a negative impact on heart health, according to an analysis published in the European Heart Journal. In particular, your chances of developing coronary heart disease or having a stroke are greatly increased with less sleep.

3. Your cancer risk increases.

Shortened sleep is associated with higher rates of breast cancercolorectal cancer, and prostate cancer, according to the AASM’s sleep statement. Overnight shift workers may take the brunt of this burden. The good news is that both men and women who slept seven or more hours per night had the best mortality rates in the group.


4. You can’t think.

Even missing one night of sleep can lead to some major cognition (thinking) issues. In a study published by Experimental Brain Researcha group of 18 men were given a task to complete. The first task was completed following a full night’s sleep. The next task was completed after skipping a night of sleep. Brain functions including memory, decision-making, reasoning, and problem-solving worsened, along with reaction time and alertness.

Not only can missed sleep make you more forgetful, there’s also a growing body of research indicating that sleep has an impact on learning and memory. Researchers suggest that sleep is critical to the process of consolidating the things we learn in the brain. In other words, we need proper rest to lock in new information and commit it to memory.

6. Your libido diminishes.

Not getting enough sleep could reduce your sex drive. In one study, young men who lost sleep over a one-week period showed a decrease in testosterone levels. Sleeping five or fewer hours reduced sex hormone levels by as much as 10 to 15 percent. The men also reported that their overall mood and vigor declined with each consecutive night of interrupted rest.

Our minds have a habit of running at a hundred miles an hour and this means we are rarely just being in the here and now. Once you do this, your mind will start to open up and appreciate what you have right now and you will even start to feel like time is no longer slipping away.

Stop limiting yourself because of other people’s expectations. It’s your life and no one else’s.

3. Don’t Make Things Bigger Than They Are

Our minds can work against us and through mindsets we develop and fears that take over. We can often make problems much bigger than they actually are. It’s all about perspective. How many times have you thought something was a huge deal but a day, week, or month down the line you don’t even think about it anymore? That’s because your mind likes to focus and blow-up worries and problems that aren’t actually problems.
Next time it happens just take a moment to ask yourself: realistically, will I still be thinking about this tomorrow, next week, next year etc.? Most of the time the answer will be “NO” so eliminate all the unnecessary worry you put yourself through.

We all have fears ― some are justified and some are not ― but to grow and really get as much out of life as you can, you need to face your fears more often.
